Mateu is a Mediterranean looking Spanish actor living in New York City, with dual citizenship. From a young age, he displayed a natural talent for the performing arts and athletics, which further honed his physical abilities and discipline. Mateu is an accomplished actor, producer, theater enthusiast, and casting expert.

Mateu began honing his skills in various local theater productions before embarking on a professional career in the world of acting, starting with musical theater and later branching out into contemporary and classical theater. He is known for his exceptional talent in theater, particularly in Shakespearean plays, as well as work in short films. Over the years, he has performed in numerous theater productions across the country, including classic Shakespearean plays such as Hamlet, Henry the VI, and Antony and Cleopatra among contemporary plays. His style of acting is considered raw and authentic.

In addition to being an actor, Mateu is also a talented producer. He founded a theater company called the Community in Barcelona back in 2018, overseeing the production of several successful plays and improv theater. Some of his short films have been selected and nominated for prestigious awards, showcasing his versatility and creativity.
